Planned for version 8.3.20

Marking conversations as read manually

A conversation of the Collaboration System with a new message is marked as read in 3 seconds if the 1C application is active and this conversation is open. In the thin client, it is additionally checked that there was user activity within the application during these 3 seconds (mouse movement or keyboard use).

Using the Collaboration System has proven that it is not always convenient. Some users prefer to see a conversation read only when they have responded to all new messages in the conversation.

To expand the supported scenarios, we have introduced additional settings for which actions the conversation is marked as read.

The "Mark as read" item will appear in the conversation context menu.

Improving video calls

Now the call window remains open after the group video call ends. This is done so that you can, if necessary, immediately bring together new participants and start a new call. Experience has proven that this feature is unclaimed and an empty video call window misleads users.

In version 8.3.20, the video call window will close when disconnected from the video call. For the last remaining user, the window will close automatically and the “Call ended” message will appear.

When one of the video call participants shares their screen during the call, other participants, in addition to the screen being shared and the video showing the screen, will also see their own video in the lower right corner of the video call window.
