You can view a schedule for each production order in the queue. You have the following options:
- View the production schedule summary.
It contains only the key dates of the entire production process, its duration and delays. - View the production schedule by operations.
It contains a list of operations with scheduled start dates and end dates. You can also view this information in the Gantt chart.
Viewing production schedule summary
To view the production schedule summary for a production order:
- Go to Production > Planning > Production planning and control.
- Select a production order line.
- Click Actions and select Schedule.
- In the Production schedule for order [ID and date] window, review the following lines:

Shows the following:
- Start date. The production order start date.
- Due date. The production order due date.
On schedule
Shows the following:
- Start date. The scheduled start date of the first operation.
- Due date. The scheduled end date of the last operation.
- Delay. Production delay in hours. It is calculated by the following formula:
Delay = Due date On schedule - Due date Required by order
- Total time. The total time (in hours) scheduled for operations including the intervals between the end time of one operation and the start time of another.
- Net time. The total time (in hours) scheduled for operations excluding the intervals between the end time of one operation and the start time of another.
Viewing production schedule by operations
To view the production schedule by operations:
- Go to Production > Planning > Production planning and control.
- Select a production order line.
- Click Actions and select Schedule.
- In the Production schedule for order [ID and date] window, select the Operations tab.
- Do one of the following:
- Review the operations list. For each operation, it shows the scheduled Start date and Due date.
- Click Gantt chart. It shows the time slots that operations occupy in the production schedule. For instance, a time slot can be an hour, a day, or a week depending on Planning interval. If a work center type is not assigned to an operation, a time slot is a day.
