Production orders are arranged in the queue according to their priority. When a production order is added to the queue, it takes the last position in a group of production orders with the same priority. The higher the priority, the higher the production order position in the queue.
Production orders with the higher position are scheduled first. If you want to change the order of scheduling, rearrange the production orders queue. You have the following options:
Changing production orders priorities
To change the priority of a production order in the queue:
- Go to Production > Planning > Production planning and control.
- Double-click a production order line.
- In the Priority field, select a priority.
- Click Post and close.
The production order takes the last position in the group of production orders with the same priority.
Note. After you change a production order priority, the production orders in the queue can require rescheduling.
Manually moving production orders
