A work in progress document is a part of the multioperation make-to-order process. Create this document to register completed technological operations and consumed materials. This information will be used for accumulating production cost.
You can also use a work in progress document to register the following:
- Employees work hours
Before you start working with work in progress documents, ensure that you set up the multioperation make-to-order process. If you plan to manage employees work hours, register employees in the Employees catalog. If you have employee teams, register them in the Teams catalog.
