Scope: managed applications, ordinary applications.
Generate a global command interface of the main application window. The window allows users to get started with the application.
Group metadata objects by their functionality to facilitate development.
In the simplest case, configuration subsystem structures can be identical for both tasks.
For example, command interface sections "Purchases" and "Sales" visible to users can be simultaneously used upon development for the following purposes: quickly filter objects in Designer metadata window, transfer objects to other configurations, set search area restrictions upon global search in a configuration, and other.
These subsystems must have the Include in command interface check box selected.
1.2. A subsystem logically combining a set of metadata objects might not match one command interface of the application. To logically group a set of metadata objects by functionality, create a separate hierarchy in a configuration for the subsystems not displayed in the command interface. Clear the Include in command interface check box for such subsystems.
The Products catalog logically refers to the "Master data" functional subsystem. It is available in the command interface of sections Master data and Marketing.
The "Settings" command interface section contains commands to open object lists logically related to functional subsystems, which enable system administrators to configure settings.
