The Shipping addresses catalog is a catalog where you store delivery addresses of your customers.
In 1C:Drive, when you register a sales document, you can specify its delivery terms. They include a shipping address and other delivery details. This information is prefilled from the Shipping addresses catalog when you specify a customer.
In the Shipping addresses catalog, you can:
- View shipping addresses.
- Register shipping addresses.
- Edit shipping addresses.
- Set the default shipping addresses.
Viewing shipping addresses
To view shipping addresses:
- Go to Sales > Catalogs > Shipping addresses.
The columns of the Shipping addresses list can vary depending on the list settings. By default, the following columns are available:
- Description. A short description of a shipping location.
- Code. A shipping address ID.
- Counterparty. A counterparty that receives shipped items.
- Contact person. A counterparty’s contact person.
- Incoterms. International commercial terms included in the delivery terms.
- Deliver from. Time when the delivery period starts.
- Deliver to. Time when the delivery period ends.
To quickly find shipping addresses:
- Sort the catalog by column by clicking a column header. You can sort by any column. To change the sorting order, click the header again.
- Search the catalog using the search field above the list. You can search by description, code, counterparty, contact person, or incoterms.
To view the shipping address details:
- In the Shipping addresses catalog, double-click a shipping address line.
Registering shipping addresses
To register a shipping address:
- Go to Sales > Catalogs > Shipping addresses.
- Click Create.
- In the Shipping address (create) window, enter or select the following:
Field Description Default address Indicates whether a shipping address is prefilled on the Delivery tab of sales documents. Description A short description of the shipping location. For example, South warehouse. If you select the Default address check box, the address is prefilled on the Delivery tab of sales documents. It goes to the document print forms.
Address The shipping address. If you select the Default address check box, the address is prefilled on the Delivery tab of sales documents. It goes to the document print forms.
Counterparty A counterparty that receives shipped items. A list of counterparties is based on the Counterparties catalog.
Contact person The counterparty’s contact person. It is prefilled on the Delivery tab of sales documents if you select the Default address check box. It goes to the document print forms.
A list of contact persons is based on the Contact persons catalog.
Deliver from_till The delivery period. It is prefilled on the Delivery tab of sales documents if you select the Default address check box.
Incoterms International commercial terms. They are prefilled on the Delivery tab of sales documents if you select the Default address check box.
A list of incoterms is based on the Incoterms catalog.
Sales rep A sales representative responsible for working with a counterparty. It is prefilled on the Additional information tab of sales documents if you select the Default address check box.
- Click Save and close.
Editing shipping addresses
You can edit shipping addresses. To do this:
- Go to Sales > Catalogs > Shipping addresses.
- Double-click a shipping address line.
- Edit the details. To learn more, see Registering shipping addresses.
Setting default shipping addresses
A customer can have various shipping addresses. You can register all of them. If one of the addresses is the most frequent delivery destination, set it as default.
When you select a customer in sales documents, their default shipping address is prefilled on the Delivery tab. The address also goes to the print forms of sales documents.
To set a default shipping address:
- Go to Sales > Catalogs > Shipping addresses.
- Select a shipping address line.
- Click Set as default.
In the Shipping address list, a check mark is displayed for default shipping addresses.
A customer can have only one default shipping address.
